I’ve have worked for a total of over 18 years in the IT sector, primarily in Software Quality Assurance in the information security sector. Most recently I worked in Adaptive Mobile Ltd for 8 years as the QA Manager and has also participated heavily in the company growing from a very small tech start up into the 170 employee and €25M a year company it is now. Adaptive Mobile provide security to the mobile telecom sector, securing over 2 billion users worldwide.
I have also worked for major international companies as well and small Irish start-ups in the telecoms, finance and entertainment sectors. Previous companies were Amdahl, DMR, Deecal, Emuse technologies and the Government of Australia.
I an a huge VR enthusiast. I have a Oculus rift and love to spend any spare time floating around in the world of virtual. I’ve have also fully rebuilt a Street Fighter 2 cabinet and Hacked Donkey Kong into a jamma switchable board, my highest score on DK is (184,348).

Paul previously worked as software engineering project manager and scrum master leading a development and QA team of 13 members in the leading cyber-security company, Adaptive Mobile. Adaptive Mobile provide security to the mobile telecom sector, securing over 2 billion users worldwide. Paul worked in Adaptive Mobile for nearly 10 years and has seen and participated heavily in the company growing from a very small tech start up into the 170 employee and €25M a year company it is now. Paul joined Adaptive when it was a fledgling startup and has been instrumental in the growth of the company both as an engineer and later as a manager. Paul’s roles within Adaptive have included dealing directly with customers and helping to translate customer desires into software.
He has the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), security specific qualification and scrum master certification. Paul has a BSc. in computer science and software engineering from Trinity College.
Elizabeth worked for four years as a software engineer in the IT department of RTE, developing software that interacted with screen graphics in real-time as well as working as a database administrator. Prior to that she was working in a successful Irish startup, Adest working in a variety of capacities including database administration, customer support and training. More recently Elizabeth has been a stay at home mum and is looking to get back into the workforce in her own start-up. She has the technical expertise coupled with a strong ability to interact well with less technical people and get complex ideas across in an easy to understand way.
